David Slade"I came to Wright Hassall at the start of 2004 after nine years with one of the very big firms in the centre of Birmingham. I was looking for a more attractive location, a closer-knit working environment, and generally a bit of a change of tack. Wright Hassall has easily provided those, but not at the expense of the quality of work I'm involved in. The combination of challenging and exciting work for high profile clients and a good quality of life produces a happy balance which makes me glad I chose Wright Hassall."

Ellie Crofts"I have worked in a variety of posts at Wright Hassall, starting as a secretary, then a trainee and finally qualifying as a solicitor in October 2009. Throughout my five years, and my varied roles, at the firm I have always felt comfortable in the friendly atmosphere of the firm, and with the support of my colleagues. Now I am qualified, I undertake a wide variety of interesting work, and I have the opportunity to be involved in high value and complex cases which challenges me – you are never bored here, which is one of the reasons I chose to become a solicitor. I feel that Wright Hassall manages the same quality of work that you might find at a larger city firm, but still maintains a healthy balance with a good quality of life and an entertaining social scene."

Ravinder Khatkar"As soon as I walked through the doors of Wright Hassall on my first interview I knew this was the place I wanted to be. The building was impressive, the staff were friendly and I had no problem relaxing during the course of my interview. This made me more determined to snag the job on offer and I was delighted when I was offered the position. Since starting work I have not been disappointed. In fact, Wright Hassall has exceeded all my expectations. I particularly found the introductory training useful as it was well spaced and I was not required to learn everything about how Wright Hassall works within 24 hours. Somebody is always available to give you a helping hand and the social side of the firm has also impressed me – it is not just all work and no play at Wright Hassall! I am now on the social committee and have even managed to squeeze my way into the weekly football matches. I know that at Wright Hassall I will have the opportunity to grow and develop as the firm continually challenges itself as a whole and great emphasis is placed on personal development and achievement."

Cathy Sheehan, Secretary to Partner

"When I came to write this  I recalled what my aims and goals were when I first joined WH - what I wanted from WH, and what WH had to offer. Like most new employees, I was uncertain of what the future held and how things would go. Over the years WH have always encouraged and supported me and made me feel that my contribution has been worthwhile and valued. I have made many friends here and hope to make many more. The work has always been interesting and challenging."
