Serious injury- reducing hand to 50% capacity or less - £19,000 to £40,650
Minor to less serious injury - £600 to £2,850
The level of the award will depend on the severity and prognosis of your injury, your physical limitations, the risk of you being exposed to further trauma and the length of your recovery.
Wrist
Complete loss of function - £31,300 to £39,300
Significant permanent disability – some remaining movement - £16,100 to £25,750
Less severe permanent disability – degree of persisting pain - £8,250 to £16,100
Uncomplicated Colles fracture - the region of £4,850
Very minor fracture or soft tissue injury - £2,300 to £3,125
The level of the award will depend on the extent to which the injury has affected your ability to use your wrist, the degree of any persisting pain and the level of recovery you have achieved.
Vibration white finger and/or Hand-Arm Vibration Syndrome
Most serious - £20,750 to £25,250
Serious - £11,000 to £20,750
Moderate - £5,700 to £11,000
Minor - £2,000 to £5,700
