Defective Product

Mrs M from Coventry was using a corkscrew to open a bottle of wine purchased from a supermarket when part of the glass bottle exploded. Some of the glass entered Mrs M’s finger causing serious lacerations which were treated in hospital with butterfly stitches and a splint. Mrs M's finger was fully functional within 8 weeks of the accident.
