A Midlands law practice has welcomed a leading figure in the legal profession to their offices.
Bob Heslett, who becomes the President of the Law Society next year, visited Wright Hassall, which is based in Leamington Spa.
He met a number of staff across a range of departments at the 200-strong firm.
The Law Society is the professional association representing every solicitor in England and Wales, providing services and support to practicing and training solicitors.
Mr Heslett is a partner at national commercial law firm Beachcroft and will become President of the Law Society in 2009 after serving as Deputy Vice President and Vice President.
Following his visit he said he was very impressed with the facilities at the firm’s new 45,000 sq ft open plan offices in Olympus House.
“Wright Hassall is known to be a very good firm and it is an exemplar of a practice of its size, working across a wide range of disciplines,” he said.
“While there I met a broad range of employees, from the young trainees just starting out through to more experienced members of staff and it was certainly a useful and informative visit.”
