New partners at Wright Hassall

Wright Hassall appoint three new partners to the practice.

Mark Miller, Gill Worthington and Justin Creed have been made partners in the 200-strong law firm.

Mark Miller joined Wright Hassall from The Wilkes Partnership in Birmingham in January 2004.

A commercial property specialist, Miller acts for clients at both local and national level and deals in property acquisition and development work, commercial landlord and tenant farm acquisitions and disposals. He also has experience in major PFI/PPP projects, acting for both public and private sectors.

Miller, who is 38 and from Leamington, moved to the law firm after eight years gaining experience in the sector in Birmingham.

“Wright Hassall has an excellent reputation, both locally and further a field,” he said. “It is a progressive firm with an excellent client base and staff, and it offers exciting prospects for the future.

“I am delighted to be given the opportunity to become a partner in the practice and I look forward very much to being involved in its continuing growth and success.”

Gill Worthington is a retail property specialist who has carried out work for TUI UK, Bravissimo, the Intercontinental Hotels Group and other large regional corporate clients.

She joined Wright Hassall in May 2001 having previously worked for Alsop Wilkinson where she carried out work on the flotation of a major sportswear retailer.

Worthington, who is from Wellesbourne, said: “It is exciting to be part of a growing business and I am looking forward to developing my role further.

“Later this year I am promoting a retail unit at the practice which will be focused on retail landlord and tenant clients.”

Justin Creed, aged 39 and from Solihull, has specialised in family law since 1990 and is an expert in cohabitation disputes.

He said: “It is a great privilege to be made a partner at such a forward thinking practice.

“It is an achievement which I have been striving for since I joined and now my intention is to continue helping the firm go from strength to strength.”

Creed has been at Wright Hassall since February 2003, having previously had his own legal business in Birmingham.

Wright Hassall was founded more than 150 years ago.
