Staff at Wright Hassall will be hosting a coffee morning with a twist as they raise their mugs to show their support for charity.
Wright Hassall has teamed up with Eden Lifestyle Salon and Virgin Vie Cosmetics to pamper coffee-drinkers with a morning of head massages, manicures and make-up in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support.
The charity coffee morning on Friday, September 26, will be held at the company’s office on Olympus Avenue, for clients and friends of the company.
All proceeds from the coffee morning, including the money raised by Virgin Vie, Eden Lifestyle Salon, and Kipper Cards - who will be selling cards at the event - will go to Macmillan Cancer Support, which supports cancer sufferers and their families both physically and financially.
Starbucks will be providing the coffee and Alcester-based Fatherson Bakery will be taking along a selection of cakes.
Rebecca Mushing, of Rugby, and who works at Wright Hassall and is co-organising the event, said: “We are really looking forward to the Macmillan coffee morning.
“Last year was a fantastic event and we raised over £1,000 - our main aim this year is to raise more than that total.
“There will be a little bit of a difference in how we run things this year – and we hope our guests will be as generous to Macmillan as they were previously!”
Macmillan was Wright Hassall’s chosen charity last year, with the 200-strong firm raising £6,500 for the support service.
