This year’s Wright Hassall Regency 10k Run has already passed the halfway point on its way to full capacity
The 10km run, which is entering its eighth year and has been sponsored by law firm Wright Hassall since its inception, will take place at 9am on Sunday, April 15.
It will see more than 2,000 runners, travel through the streets and parks of Leamington from Newbold Terrace East, to Mill Gardens – under the direction of Spa Striders Runners, who marshal the event.
The race has previously been voted second in the Daily Telegraph’s ‘Top Ten British 10km runs’ and the best in the West Midlands by Runner’s World magazine.
But those still hoping to enter the event will have to be quick off the mark as it has already received more than 1,000 entries.
Nick Abell, senior partner at Wright Hassall, said: “The Wright Hassall Regency 10k Run is always a great event and we are delighted to be supporting it once again.
“Last year the run was full to capacity and there was also a large number of local residents out on the streets to support the runners so we are hoping for more of the same this year.”
