Southam United Charities has appointed its first new clerk in 25 years.
John Rouse, of Wright Hassall, has taken over the voluntary role from colleague Peter Beddoes, also of Wright Hassall, who stepped down after reaching a quarter of a century in his role.
United Charities was formed in October 1910 when several local charities amalgamated to support the community of Southam.
The charities help the people of the town in various ways through education, food vouchers and even the granting of a lease for social housing.
John Rouse, a partner at Wright Hassall, said: “The charities do great work for the people of the town and the Southam community in general and, as a company, we have been only too happy to help their work over the years.”
Jim Taylor, chair of the Southam United Charities: added: “Wright Hassall has supported the charities through its work with Peter and now John, and we are extremely grateful for its help.”
