Around 1,200 runners will take part in the second Wright Hassall Regency Run on Sunday.
The 10k event, which will start at the junction of Newbold Terrace East and Willes Road at 9am, has attracted club and fun runners and the field is 50 per cent bigger than last year.
Russell Hall, of the Leamington Round Table, said the event would help raise funds for local organisations.
“We have been delighted with the response. We increased the field by 400 places after the success of last year’s event and once again we have been inundated with applications.
“I think last year proved that is a very attractive setting for an event like this, and certainly word has spread and we have been getting entries from further afield.
“Runners raised around £10,000 for local good causes last year, and we certainly expect to raise more this time around.
“We are hoping for good weather again this year to make everything so much easier for the organisers, volunteers and the runners themselves.”
Wright Hassall, the Leamington-based law firm which has backed the event for the past two years, has 17 members of staff running in the event.
Jane Senior, a partner at the 200 strong firm, said training sessions had proved very popular.
“We have regular runners and complete novices from the firm taking part this year. We have had regular training sessions and I know that people have trained hard.
“We thought the run was a good idea and were delighted to back it last year. It was a massive success, a really first class event, so we were only too happy to help once again.
“The Round Table has again done a superb job and deserves praise for all its efforts. A lot of work goes into organising any event like this and we just wish everyone taking part the best of luck.”
