One of Coventry’s top golf clubs has ensured its members can continue to enjoy a round on and off the course, with the help of a Leamington solicitor.
Andrew Potts, of Wright Hassall solicitors, has recently applied for a new, improved licence for The Windmill Village Hotel Golf Course and Leisure Club, so that its bars, restaurant and wedding facilities are totally suitable to customers’ requirements.
Mr Potts has worked with the club since it was purchased by the National Motorcycle Museum in October 1999, and has a long history of licensing venues across the Midlands, most recently Coventry Rugby Club’s Butts Park Arena.
“The Windmill has become a real treasure for Coventry – it has become not only a quality golf course and leisure club, but a great location for weddings, events or fine dining,” Mr Potts said.
“This new licence will offer the flexibility the location needs. Aside from all the obvious licences, there is now scope for outdoor events, because the whole golf course is licensed which will be a useful option at a time when venues are looking for new ways to generate income.
“The owners have invested around £5 million in improving all aspects of the complex and I’m sure the venue will go from strength to strength.”
