Anna is a member of the Litigation team and specialises in:
Inheritance Disputes:
Claims under the Inheritance (Provision for Family and Dependants) Act 1975;
Disputes between Executors;
Claims in respect of the validity of Wills (for example where the Deceased lacked mental capacity, knowledge and approval of the contents of their Will or were subject to undue influence).
- Professional Negligence matters including:
- Claims relating to and against Solicitors, Accountants, Surveyors, Architects, Insurance Brokers, Financial Advisers.
Increasingly there is a move towards avoiding litigation wherever possible in favour of alternative methods of dispute resolution. Anna has a particular interest in the mediation process.
Background
Anna graduated from Durham University with an LLB (Hons) and completed the Legal Practice Course at Nottingham Law School. Anna went on to train with Needham & James Solicitors in Stratford-upon-Avon and was admitted as a Solicitor in 2005, specialising in dispute resolution.
Interests
In her spare time Anna enjoys walking, cycling, theatre and reading.
