Tim is a consultant in the Corporate department specialising in corporate finance and financial services regulatory work. He has wide ranging experience of advising companies, particularly plc’s, on the spectrum of corporate activity including mergers and acquisitions, equity fundraisings and flotations. He also has considerable experience of advising companies in the investment banking/asset management industry on financial services regulatory issues. Tim has worked both in private practice and in legal in-house/corporate finance roles at a number of financial institutions in Birmingham and the City of London.
Background
After qualifying with Slaughter and May in 1990, Tim practised for a number of years in their corporate team before moving to Birmingham in 1997 to join Wragge & Co. In 1999 he moved to an in-house role at Albert E Sharp Securities subsequently becoming a corporate finance director at Arbuthnot Securities and then Williams de Broe in Birmingham. He joined Wright Hassall in June 2009 from Ambrian Capital, a London-based investment bank.
