David specialises in investment property sales and purchases, but is also involved in development work, landlord and tenant transactions and wide range of general non-contentious commercial property work.
His recent work includes the acquisition of a multi-million pound investment portfolio, the disposal of a vacant city centre building for conversion into residential development, and the disposal of an office investment. David's clients include various property developers, investors and occupiers and has been cited as a leader in his field in previous editions of Chambers UK.
Background
David was articled at a specialist property practice in the West End of London, Brecher & Co, from 1992 to 1994. He joined the Birmingham office of Eversheds LLP on qualification, and remained there until 2003, where he was one of the key players on the legal team working on the development and letting of Birmingham's Bull Ring, as well as on the lettings of Bluewater, the UK's largest retail development. David joined Wright Hassall in January 2004 and became a partner in January 2007.
