Humphrey joined Wright Hassall in 2007. He specialises in all aspects of commercial property, including acquisitions and disposals, commercial landlord & tenant and development. He also has considerable experience of the Law of Adverse Possession. His clients include the property departments of BMW and JCDecaux and Coventry-based commercial landlord and developer, Wigleys Contracts (Barby) Limited. He has recently received instructions to act on behalf of Stepnell Properties and Stepnell Developments Limited.
He also works wth Paul Rice in the Farming and Rural Business Team and deals with the buying, selling and leasing of rural property from large farms through to pony paddocks.
Background
Humphrey was an army officer for 23 years before obtaining a law degree by correspondence course. He qualified in 1999 with Blount Petre Kramer in London and became a partner shortly afterwards. Humphrey moved to Arnold Thomson in 2001, becoming a partner the following year.
Interests
Humphrey still enjoys watching sport, particularly international rugby and cricket, but his current interests include countryside pursuits, antique silver, classical music andĀ opera.
