Katie is a member of the litigation team and specialises in:
- Contested Court of Protection matters;
- Inheritance Disputes including:
- Claims under the Inheritance (Provision for Family and Dependants) Act 1975;
- Removal/Replacement of Executors;
- Claims in respect of the validity of wills including where the testator lacked mental capacity, wills procured as a result of undue influence and wills which have not be executed correctly;
- Caveats, Warnings and Appearances; and
- Claims involving agreements regarding property prior to death
- Professional Negligence including claims relating to and against Solicitors and Surveyors.
Background
Katie graduated from Coventry University with LLB (honours) and studied her LPC at the College of Law, Birmingham. Katie trained with the firm and qualified into the litigation department in March 2011.

In her spare time, Katie enjoys reading and is a keen cupcake baker!
