Keith specialises in corporate finance and finance law generally.
Keith’s wide experience encompasses bank and asset finance, venture/investment capital, flotations, mergers and acquisitions, property and development finance, capital markets and eurobond issues, asset-backed securitisations, corporate recovery and work-outs and consumer finance.
Background
Keith was admitted as a solicitor in 1982. After 5 years in general practice he joined 3i Group plc. In 1991 Keith joined national firm edge ellison, based mainly in its London office and became a partner in 1993. In 1998 Keith became national head of Banking, Finance Law and Insolvency and in 2000 became a main board director at igroup (now part of GE Capital Corporation) as part of a management buy-out. He also continued as a finance law consultant with Hammonds (the merged firm of edge ellison and Hammond Suddards).
Interests
Keith's interests include fast cars, classical music, rugby football, wine and economics and business management. He has contributed many articles to the financial industry trade press and he has lectured extensively on the legal aspects of finance and corporate finance.
