Mark is a partner in the corporate and charities/not for profit teams and has particular experience in:

  • mergers, acquisitions and takeovers

Mark is also a member of Wright Hassall's Sports Law and Equine Units and specialises in non-contentious constitutional, regulatory and contractual matters.  Clients include national and local charities and various governing sporting bodies.

In the Legal 500 2009 Mark is noted for his "very strong commercial understanding" and also for his ability to "translate well from legal to layman's language".

Mark is the consultant editor of the Law Society's book on The Companies Act 2006, a contributing editor of Butterworths Company Law Guide and was, for many years, a contributing Editor of Butterworths Corporate Law Service. He is also a member of the Charity Law Association.
