Mark has experience in a wide range of commercial property work. Much of his portfolio of work includes land acquisition and disposals, residential and commercial development (a large proportion of which has included the Housing Association and nursing homes sectors), commercial landlord and tenant and farm acquisitions and disposals.
He has also been involved with major projects including PFI/PPP acting for both the public and private sectors in connection with education and health based PFI projects, emergency services joint procurement projects and Local Authority public lighting and transport PFI schemes.
His clients range from landowners, both private and corporate, and charitable trusts including the Fields in Trust (formerly known as National Playing Fields Association) and Orbit Housing. He also acts for Thomson Holidays as well as various property developers.
Background
Mark is a law graduate from the University of Birmingham and was articled with Herbert Mallam Gowers in Oxford. Whilst at Pinsents in Birmingham he dealt with major project work including PFI/PPP and acted for both the public and private sector in connection with education and health based PFI projects, emergency services joint procurement projects and local authority public lighting and transport PFI schemes. Mark joined the commercial property department at Wright Hassall in January 2004 from The Wilkes Partnership in Birmingham where he worked exclusively in commercial property.
