Petra van Dijk

Petra specialises in insolvency related matters. In particular Petra deals with contentious matters, including the following:

• issuing and defending statutory demands, bankruptcy and winding-up petitions
• applications for administration orders
• preference claims
• transactions at an undervalue claims
• claims on the matrimonial home
• bankruptcy annulment proceedings
• breach of directors’ duties claims, including misfeasance and wrongful trading

Petra also has experience in dealing with non-contentious matters, such as asset sales.

Background

Petra was born in the Netherlands where she obtained a Dutch law degree. She qualified as a solicitor in 2000 and joined the insolvency team at Wright Hassall in 2005.

Interests

In her spare time Petra enjoys being mum to Nick and Kate and likes to walk and read. She also enjoys going on holiday to France or sunny places where she can snorkel.
