Chambers UK 2009
Based in Leamington Spa, this compact team provides a range of construction advice to regional developers, housing associations, contractors and specialist subcontractors. The team is primarily known for its contentious construction work, having recently acted for an employer in a fascinating dispute relating to a steam railway and represented an electrical contractor in disputes with four major banking and IT centres at Canary Wharf. Impressed commentators are adamant that “this efficient and reputable team can take on the larger firms splendidly.” Philip Harris heads the team and is its undoubted star. “He has enormous knowledge of the construction industry” and is praised for his meticulous preparation.
