Rachel provides specialist advice and support to a variety of social housing providers with a particular emphasis on large projects including: large scale voluntary transfers, group structures and consortium and partnering arrangements. She advises on constitutional, commercial, regulatory, contractual and governance issues relating to social housing and charity law.  Rachel regularly provides governance support and training to Boards, Board Members and officers on a variety of issues.

Background

Rachel completed her CPE/LPC after graduating from Manchester Metropolitan University with a degree in Economics and Geography.  Rachel joined Anthony Collins Solicitors as a paralegal in 2003 before starting her training contract with the firm. She qualifyied into the housing corporate services team in 2006.  Rachel joined Wright Hassall in July 2010.

Interests

Rachel is a Trustee of a Birmingham based group of charities including Cornerstone, Cornerstone Quest and Cornerstone City Centre which aim to equip communities to care for vulnerable people through practical support.
