Fern Colwill
Fern specialises in non-contentious property matters relating to agriculture and rural land, with a particular interest in adverse possession, and first registration applications.
About Fern
With years of experience working in both conveyancing, and the agricultural industry, Fern brings a wealth of knowledge and passion for her area of specialty.
Her skill set includes sales and purchases, as well as mortgages, first registrations, adverse possession, easements, overage, public rights of way and tenancies.
Agricultural property and rural estates often present with complex challenges, which Fern relishes. She is sensitive to her clients needs, and keen to ensure they are made to feel involved at every stage of their transaction.

Career
After completing her law degree, Fern studied to become a Licensed Conveyancer, qualifying in 2015 while working at Brethertons LLP.
Having always had a background interest in agricultural and rural matters, Fern then went on to work at the National Farmers Union (NFU), providing legal advice and guidance to farmers and rural land owners.
This combined experience led Fern to pursue a career with Wright Hassall as a Farms and Estates Executive.
Interests
When not running around after her young family, Fern can be found at the gym on a spin bike, crocheting blankets, reading books, holidaying in the Lake District, or out for dinner with friends.
