Some contracts are profitable, and some are not. If you knew what you know now, it is highly unlikely that you would have entered into those unprofitable contracts. We can assist you, at minimal cost, with a legal review of your key contracts to help you save money.
Even after you have signed the contract, all is not lost. We have recently helped clients to get key contracts back on track and to save large sums of money on unprofitable contracts
You may already have done some of these things, but you can:
- Review your contracts, so you know which are profitable and which are not;
- Prioritise the high value unprofitable contracts or those large contracts where the profit margin is lower than you expect;
- Review those contracts to see whether you can:
- Improve your performance further
- Help the other party improve its performance, if its performance is impacting on your profitability
- See whether you can re-negotiate
- Obtain a legal review of key contracts to establish:
- Whether you can terminate the contract early
- If you can terminate early, how much will it cost and what are the legal arguments you can use to reduce the costs
- What legal arguments can you use to help in any re-negotiation
