This interactive questionnaire will help you determine whether you can safely send your next marketing e-mailshot, or whether you are prevented from doing so by the anti-spam laws* that were introduced at the end of 2003.
While unsolicited marketing e-mails to corporations are still permitted (subject to certain conditions), e-mails to individuals are severely restricted unless you have specific consent ('opt-in') from the recipient, or are entitled to act as if you have under the 'soft' opt-in rules.
We have also flagged up other law that may be applicable to your e-mailshot.
