11. An employee has resigned, claiming constructive dismissal, but has written with her grievances. What do we do about this?

You are not required to hold a face-to-face meeting if your employee has already terminated his or her employment. However you must respond to her grievances in writing. A failure to do so will be a breach of the statutory procedures which could lead to an increase in any compensation award of between 10 and 50 per cent.
