Yes. Consumers (but not businesses) have additional rights. In particular:
- The consumer must be given specified clear information about the goods before buying.
- After the order is placed, the consumer must be sent written confirmation.
- There is a cooling off period, normally of seven working days, within which the consumer has the right to cancel the order.
