Describe your product (or service) accurately. Explain to the customer any tolerances in technical specifications and any limitations or defects in the product. Encourage the buyer to examine the product. If you are providing a sample, ensure that the sample is representative.
Make sure you include any necessary safety instructions.
Avoid giving advice on whether the product is suitable for the customer's needs unless you are sure of your facts (see question 13).
