You will need to identify the executors, who will be named in the will. The executors will have to gain access to and secure the property. They should also see that it is insured as well as notifying the insurers about the death. The deceased's assets and personal property will need to be collected in and the liabilities paid. There may be a need to apply for a Grant of Probate to do this (see Grant of Representation).
