Our experience

Our construction and engineering team consists of six lawyers and one engineer who deal with building, civil engineering, mechanical and electrical engineering and process plant projects including PFI and infrastructure projects.

Our experience is grounded in the industry - one of the Partners is an adjudicator, arbitrator and mediator - and we also have extensive connections with many industry bodies including membership of British Water (the trade association for the water industry supply chain).

Click here for a list of the professional and trade associations that our team is involved with.

We are also actively involved in effecting introductions between companies with mutual interests. Contact us to discuss how we can arrange meetings to further your business objectives.

Our level of expertise is second to none - we have all the advantages of large city centre practices but none of the disadvantages. We are flexible and open in our approach to costs and are happy to discuss fixed or capped fees and other solutions.

Chambers UK 2010

This Leamington Spa-based construction practice retains its solid place in the crowded West Midlands construction market. Wright Hassall’s commitment to construction is underlined by recent recruitment, which has seen the team swell to seven members. The group recently acted for a contractor in a high-profile dispute with Birmingham City Council.

The team is headed by the veteran Philip Harris, whose 25 years' experience in the sector are central to the group’s appeal.

Legal 500 2009

Wright Hassall LLP’s team is ‘technically good‘ and includes the ‘knowledgeable‘ Philip Harris. He advised a leading Midlands contractor in relation to a multimillion-pound dispute with a property developer and the subsequent enforcement of an adjudicator’s decision.
