Disputes with neighbours

You may be a landlord, or simply a domestic property owner in dispute with your neighbour.  We specialise and can advise in many common areas of dispute between neighbours such as:

  • Boundary disputes (over where the boundary lies)
  • Problems with hedges and trees
  • Party wall problems
  • Issues over the right to light
  • Disputes concerning the building of extensions
  • Sewerage and other shared utilities

There is specific legislation relating to all these issues.  We can examine the particular circumstances of your dispute and advise on your prospects of success if you were to take your neighbour to court.  It may be that relations with your neighbour have deteriorated and you simply need a third party to mediate for you.  Our experience in dealing with neighbour disputes means that we can usually resolve any issue swiftly and cost-effectively on your behalf.
