To see your favourite band or comedy act, Warwick Arts Centre at Warwick University is close by and, of course, the famous Royal Shakespeare Company is based down the road in Stratford upon Avon. Birmingham is also home to the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra, the Birmingham Repertory Theatre and the Birmingham Royal Ballet so there is no shortage of cultural life in the locality.

There is a strong social life at WH: the trainees form a sizeable group and organise lunches, drinks after work and outings to gigs and other events. In addition the firm holds a Christmas and summer party for everyone.
