Social Housing Property Solicitor - Associate
Description
We are recruiting for a motivated and ambitious Associate to join our Social Housing Securitisation team who have an unrivalled reputation as a leading supplier of legal solutions to the social housing sector. You will work as part of a team on large scale portfolio matters comprising mainly charging (securitisation) work and stock rationalisation projects. You will help to manage, mentor and supervise junior staff.
Person specification
The ideal candidate will:
- have a solid property background, and preferably (but not necessarily) already have experience within this specific area;
- demonstrate motivation, enthusiasm, and a strong work ethic; and
- have a desire to play a key role in the continued and future success of the team.
This role would suit an experienced Solicitor with 4+ years PQE (although candidates with fewer PQE may be considered dependant on relevant experience). This is an excellent opportunity to be part of an interesting and growing niche sector, with clear career progression through the partnership for the right candidate.
Job responsibilities
- Responsible for running own caseload and ensuring deadlines are met.
- Ensure the retention of good clients through appropriate client management and service delivery.
- Secure profitable new clients through networking and cross sell opportunities, whilst simultaneously increasing the Firm’s profile.
- Develop responsibility for managing more junior team members.
- Provide coaching and training for individuals as required.
- Prepare and present seminars and/or issue bulletins on topical subjects.
