Join us on December 6th for our annual Agricultural Christmas Talk.

Our annual Christmas agricultural talk will take place at Stoneleigh Park again this year and we would be delighted if you could join us.

Tea and coffee will be served from 3.30pm with the presentations starting promptly at 4pm. It will conclude around 6pm after an opportunity to ask questions, where some Christmas refreshments will be served.

Professor Simon Pearson

Professor Simon Pearson is Director of the Lincoln Institute of Agri-Food Technology at The University of Lincoln. The Institute helps develop and run cross disciplinary research projects on behalf of the agri food sector. This includes a large focus on the use and deployment of agri food robotic systems, including robotic crop harvesting and food processing systems, use of autonomous vehicles in the agri food sector, the application of actuators within agri food robotic systems.

Prior to joining Lincoln, he was the CEO of a large UK farming company, worked for Marks and Spencer plc in a technical role and as a scientist

Adrian joined Mattioli Woods in 2001 after graduating from the University of Birmingham with an Honours degree in Economics. Initially, as a client relationship manager, Adrian headed up the broking team of Mattioli Woods, and after completing specialist trust, tax, and pension qualifications he moved into consultancy.

As well as being an editor for various tax journals on pension planning, Adrian regularly lectures on pension legislation at both internal and external seminar events, and advises clients on the construction and maintenance of investment portfolios.

Alongside technical pension consultancy, Adrian frequently advises on the inclusion of discretionary fund management, commercial property, and structured products for pension, personal, trust, and corporate investment.
