Charities rely on legacies to support the work that they are doing. Problems with regard to probate can cause considerable problems for charities when seeking to access these legacies. There were two executors named in the deceased’s will but one of them had pre-deceased and the other wanted to renounce probate. The residuary beneficiaries were two charities and our client was one of the charities.

Dealing with probate for an overseas executor
