Jenny is an associate solicitor in the wills, trusts and tax team. She advises on estate planning, including the use of wills and trusts. Jenny is a member of The Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP)


  • Created a charitable trust for a business owner within a tight timeframe to coincide with the company’s financial year end and dealt with the subsequent registration of the charitable trust with the Charity Commission.
  • Advised the executors of an estate on the redirection by way of a deed of variation of a legacy left to the deceased in order to reduce the Inheritance Tax payable on her estate.
  • Helped clients plan for their futures by preparing Lasting Powers of Attorney and tax-efficient wills which will offer protection for a vulnerable beneficiary following their deaths.


Jenny studied Law with French at the University of Birmingham and as part of her course studied French Law for a year in Bordeaux. She then undertook the Legal Practice Course at the College of Law in Birmingham. She trained and qualified at Shakespeare Putsman in Birmingham where she worked before joining WH in November 2010. Jenny is a full member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP). 



Jenny enjoys ballroom and Latin American dancing, swimming, cinema and travelling, especially in France.
