Since qualification in 2005 Tracy has gained a vast amount of knowledge and experience in all aspects of private wealth.  Her expertise extends to estate and wealth planning including the drafting of Wills and Trusts, Inheritance Tax and succession planning. Aspects of wealth planning also include making the necessary applications to the Court of Protection.  Tracy also advises and provides guidance on existing trusts and administration of estates.

Tracy has a niche specialism in care fees, particularly in relation to partnership and/or business interests/assets and NHS Continuing Healthcare funding.  She also advises on trusts for vulnerable people and their families.  Her experience also extends to applications in the Court of Protection for health and welfare.


  • Acts for a national firm of Genealogists as a trusted adviser for estate administration.
  • Acted for many clients in relation to care home fees and Continuing Healthcare funding resulting in over £100,000 being repaid to her clients.
  • Successfully challenged a local authority in the Court of Protection regarding care placement. 


Tracy qualified in 2005. She was a partner with Worcestershire-based mfg solicitors and more recently a Senior Associate Solicitor with Thursfields Solicitors before joining Wright Hassall in 2018. 


Tracy is a full member of Solicitors for the Elderly (SFE) and sits on the Birmingham Branch Committee of SFE.


In her spare time Tracy enjoys running, having completed a half marathon in October 2018 for charity.
