Wendy has been advising executors and family members on all matters relating to the administration of an individual's estate, following their death, for over ten years. She deals with estates of all sizes and values, priding herself on her ability to manage beneficiaries' expectations while supporting the executors in their task of carrying out the deceased's final wishes, during what is often an emotionally difficult time for all.
Acted for an executor who lived in Saudi Arabia. All correspondence was conducted via email apart from those documents that required a wet signature - which required some quick thinking when one set of signed documents failed to arrive back in the UK
Liaised with estate agents on behalf of an executor, in relation to the sale of the main home, who wished to delegate this part of the estate administration after they had decided to move permanently to their holiday home.
Wendy started her career as a legal secretary within the private client practice area and quickly developed an appreciation of, and liking for, probate matters. When the opportunity arose, she switched to fee earning, gaining her experience at another well-regarded Warwickshire firm. She joined Wright Hassall in 2017.
