Bhavika deals with an array of matters including: freehold and leasehold acquisitions, including acting for a borrower if funding is being obtained; sale and leaseback transactions; freehold and leasehold disposals; landlord and tenant asset management including the taking, granting and renewal of leases, lease assignments, short term licences, lease variations and surrenders; auction sales and purchases; large scale portfolio work; pension scheme transactions including in specie transfers and transferring commercial properties into tax efficient pension schemes; and assisting with the property elements of corporate transactions such as asset and share sales and purchases.

- Continuing to act on behalf of a global advertising company in the bulk disposal of advertising land and sites at auction
- Acted on the assignment of a lease of a restaurant / café in Birmingham’s Jewellery Quarter
- Successfully dealt with the grant of a renewal lease within a large sports stadium and exhibition, events and conference centre
- Acted for two SIPPs in the investment purchase of an industrial unit subject to occupational leases

Career
Bhavika graduated from the University of Sheffield with a 2:1 degree in LLB Law with Criminology in 2011.
She subsequently continued her studies at Kaplan Law School at Nottingham Trent University achieving a distinction in the Legal Practice Course which she completed on a part time basis whilst working full time as a Paralegal.
Before joining Wright Hassall, Bhavika completed her training contract at a firm in Leicester where she qualified in October 2016.
Memberships
- Bhavika heads up the Young Real Estate Professionals (“YREP”) Midlands networking group which aims to provide people in the earlier stages of their careers an opportunity to build their networks in the real estate sector.
- Bhavika is also a trustee and director of Safeline UK, a specialist charity supporting survivors of sexual abuse and rape nationwide which also aims to prevent the sexual exploitation of children.
Interests
In her spare time Bhavika enjoys socialising with family and friends. She also (tries!) to keep fit by running regularly. Bhavika is also a massive foodie and loves going out to restaurants to try different types of cuisine.
