Kelly's work includes challenges to the validity of wills on all grounds, but, most commonly, lack of testamentary capacity and/or knowledge and approval of the contents of the will; claims under the Inheritance (Provision for Family and Defendants) Act 1975; proprietary estoppel claims; disputes with and between executors and professional negligence claims against solicitors arising out of this area of work.

Kelly started her career at Wright Hassall LLP as a paralegal in the contentious probate department in 2014 before securing and commencing her training contract with the firm in 2017. Kelly qualified as a solicitor in October 2017 into the contentious probate team..
