Suki also advises on employment law-related matters in relation to corporate transactions and has worked on many acquisitions for both purchaser and vendor, for corporates, and not-for-profit organisations including housing associations.
Suki has a specialist interest in providing legal support to HR practitioners in a wide range of companies from Plcs to SMEs. She also presents client seminars and workshops on a range of employment-related subjects.

Experience
- Advised a major technology provider on transfer of employees from a phone provider in order to fulfil an outsourcing contract for phone testing services. This multi-site project involved negotiating, drafting and the practical implementation of TUPE, including exit provisions for employees at the end of the contract period.
- Advised a major technology provider on the TUPE aspects of a major outsourcing contract for testing electronic equipment for a global engineering company in relation to employees based across the UK, Europe and the US. Work has involved negotiations over employee entry provisions and redundancy in those instances where employees have been unable or unwilling to move location.
- Advised a major facilities management company on a number of tribunal claims this year all successfully defended or negotiated in the company’s favour. Also advised on misappropriation issues by senior directors at the company and advised in the legal redress.

Career
Suki trained with a Bristol firm before joining Wright Hassall in 2000 after qualification. She became a Partner in 2005. Suki also speaks Punjabi and Hindi.
