Since qualification as a solicitor in 2005, Tracy has gained a vast amount of knowledge and experience in all private client related issues. Advising on care fee funding and protecting vulnerable clients is her particular area of expertise.
Tracy's expertise extends to estate and wealth planning including the drafting of Wills and trusts, Inheritance Tax (IHT), asset and family protection and succession planning. Tracy deals with financial and welfare applications in the Court of Protection (COP), including those that relate to estate planning. Lasting Power of Attorney (LPA) including bespoke drafting for her clients needs and wishes. Tracy also advises and provides guidance on existing trusts and the administration of estates.
She has a niche specialism in advising on care home funding issues, particularly in relation to partnership and/or business interests/assets and NHS funding, continuing healthcare (CHC) and funded nursing contribution (FNC). She also advises on local authority duties and the wish to receive care at home. She also advises on the creation or existing trusts for vulnerable people and their families.

Tracy qualified in 2005. She was a partner with Worcestershire-based mfg solicitors and more recently a Senior Associate Solicitor with Thursfields Solicitors before joining Wright Hassall in 2018.
Tracy is a full member of Solicitors for the Elderly (SFE) and sits on the Birmingham Branch Committee of SFE.
In her spare time Tracy enjoys running, having completed a half marathon in October 2018 for charity.
