Sarah Perry, Managing Partner of Leamington Spa-based Wright Hassall Solicitors, has been identified as one of the legal sector’s leading lights, in The Lawyer’s Hot 100 list for 2017.

From hundreds of nominations, the best and most influential solicitors, barristers and general counsel, are whittled down to the final ‘Hot 100’ for the year.

While the list highlights those involved in ground-breaking litigation and high-profile cases, the list also recognises those that have made an impact on the performance of their firms, particularly those leading from the front.

The list featured Perry in the management section and highlighted that since becoming Managing Partner in January 2016, she “…has wasted no time making her mark” and “…has been a key driver of the firm’s growth strategy”.

Perry commented: “To be ranked alongside some of the country’s top legal minds is personally very satisfying, if a little surprising.

“But I believe it says more about the growing recognition within our industry and those that comment upon it, that law firms must change and become the businesses our clients truly need, or face an uncertain future.

“In recent years, we have set Wright Hassall on a different path, with our clients at the centre of how we think, what we do and our future plans. It is my good fortune to be leading the firm as it reaps the rewards of the changes our management team has implemented.
