Telephone Collections Negotiator

Wright Hassall LLP, based in Leamington Spa, with history of 175 years are looking to recruit 3 full-time Telephone Collection Negotiators to join our Debt Recovery Team.
Our Debt Recovery team are experienced in recovering debts on behalf of banks, financial and insurance institutions, companies of all sizes and retailers.
Person specification
You will be a confident communicator on the telephone and be able to successfully negotiate financial payment plans whilst showing empathy to individual’s circumstances. You will be able to deliver a straight-forward, high quality and compliant collection service and demonstrate the ability to work both on your own and as a team player. You will be given training, guidance and support to develop your role within our Collections team.
Candidates will preferably have proven customer services experience, but this is not essential as we provide comprehensive training.
Job responsibilities
You will be responsible for providing a first-class customer service experience whilst maximising the recovery on overdue balances for a variety of clients. You will be required to communicate effectively and use your negotiation skills to resolve these outstanding balances. You will be handling a high volume of both inbound and outbound calls and will be required to meet high quality standards and maintain regulatory compliance. This is a fast-paced role and will require someone who is comfortable working in a busy environment.
