He brings strong expertise in employment documentation, compliance, and dispute resolution, ensuring that clients are well-prepared and confident in navigating complex HR processes.
He assists clients with drafting and reviewing contracts of employment, workplace policies/handbooks, and formal correspondence, making sure all documents are legally sound, up to date, and tailored to each organisation’s needs. Daniel also supports internal procedures such as investigations and disciplinary hearings, where his professionalism and discretion help clients manage sensitive issues with care.

Career
Daniel began his legal career by earning his Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) with a 2:1 from the University of Lagos, where he built a strong foundation in core areas of law. He went on to qualify as a barrister and solicitor in Nigeria, gaining practical experience with law firms and government departments in Nigeria. During this time, he developed a particular interest in employment and workplace law, working on matters that involved both litigation and advisory support.
Seeking to broaden his international expertise, Daniel moved to the UK to pursue a Master of Law (LL.M) in Commercial Law at Cardiff University. He graduated with Distinction, reflecting both his academic ability and commitment to professional development. His studies also strengthened his comparative understanding of legal systems, a perspective he now brings into his day-to-day practice.
Daniel is currently building his career within the employment law team at Wright Hassall, supporting clients with a wide range of workplace matters while completing the steps required to qualify as a solicitor in England and Wales. Soon to be dual-qualified, he combines international experience with a growing specialism in UK employment law, making him an asset to both colleagues and clients.
