Experience
Before moving to the planning team, Gemma worked for 3 years within our property litigation team and did her first trainee seat rotation there. During her time in property litigation, Gemma was a first point of contact for a variety of large retail clients. Gemma develops strong relationships which give her a good understanding of what the clients want to achieve and enables her to provide pragmatic business advice tailored to her clients’ needs.
Gemma has experience in preparing and serving Section 25, 26 and 27 notices, managing active court proceedings and issuing protective proceedings. The mortgage repossession portfolio gave Gemma the opportunity to expand her expertise, where she managed cases from the letter before action to enforcing possession orders.
Gemma is now focused on her second rotation within the planning team and is assisting on varied planning matters including planning obligation agreements, highway agreements, HS2 compensation claims and planning appeals.
