Andrew has over 40 years' experience of licensing and gaming law, having advised all types of premises with licensing requirements from stadiums and other sporting venues, to hotels, pubs, clubs, restaurants, betting offices and casinos.
Andrew is also experienced at advising clients in respect of environmental health prosecutions.
- Advised on a new licence for Coventry Rugby Club.
- Advised the award winning San Carlo Group on the opening of its new concept restaurant and bar, Fumo in Birmingham. Secured important new premises licensing, in respect of the restaurant, bar and late lounge.
- Secured the right for Leamington Real Tennis Club to host a number of events, including live boxing, following a review of its licensing arrangements.

After qualifying Andrew joined Edge & Ellison where he was made a partner in 1975. He remained with the firm after its merger with Hammonds in 2000 and joined Wright Hassall in 2005. Andrew graduated from Bristol University.
