Julie is an experienced conveyancer who has dealt with the sale and purchase of freehold properties for over 23 years. She also advises on leasehold property transactions.

She is known for her 'can do' attitude to getting transactions over the line within clients' timescales. Julie is recommended by many of our local independent estate agents because of her proactive approach and willingness to go the extra mile to keep the transaction moving.

  • Acted on behalf of a client in a sale and purchase transaction which involved a part-built property. Because the state of the property meant the client was unable to secure a mortgage, he had to use a bridging loan, secured on three different properties, to finance the purchase. Despite the complications, both sale and purchase were eventually successfully completed.

Julie started her career in law as a legal secretary before training to become a conveyancing paralegal. Having previously worked at Ian Burr & Co, Ollerenshaws and Alsters Kelley, she joined Wright Hassall in 2015.

Julie enjoys socialising with family and friends and has a busy home life with a husband and three sons.
