Bhavya is a trainee solicitor currently undertaking her first seat in the Development and Securitisation team. She supports a variety of development projects, gaining hands-on experience with the legal and commercial aspects involved in bringing complex schemes from inception to completion. Bhavya is building her skills in drafting, due diligence, and client communication while collaborating closely with associates and partners on live matters.
Experience
Bhavya is at the beginning of her training contract and is currently gaining practical experience in the Development and Securitisation team. She is developing a solid understanding of the legal and commercial issues that underpin development transactions and is already contributing to the team’s work on a number of active matters. Examples of experience include:
- Drafting a range of documents including TP1s (transfer of part), RXCs (consent to restriction), RX1s (application to enter a restriction), UN1s (notice of unilateral notice), AP1s (application to change the register), and undertakings.
- Reviewing title documents and assisting with identifying potential issues.
- Managing post-completion processes.
- Liaising with local authorities and developers to coordinate procedural aspects of development matters.
Career
After completing her LLB in Law in 2022, Bhavya pursued the LPC/LLM, graduating in February 2025. Alongside her postgraduate studies, she gained practical legal experience at a number of law firms, including Eversheds Sutherland and Shakespeare Martineau, where she supported teams across various practice areas. She commenced her training contract with Wright Hassall LLP in April 2025.
Interests
Outside of work, Bhavya enjoys travelling and experiencing new cultures. She maintains an active lifestyle with regular gym sessions that help her stay focused and energised. She also values spending quality time with friends and family.
