Laura provides legal advice to businesses across a range of sectors. She has experience of drafting:

  • Data protection provisions in contracts so that they address the changes brought about by the Data Protection Act 2018 and adequately protect clients going forward.
  • Licences and assignments of copyright, patents and trade marks.
  • Privacy policies.
  • Document retention policies.
  • IP/IT/DP warranties in share  and asset purchase agreements.
  • Due diligence reports in relation to the IP/IT/DP aspects of corporate acquisitions.
  • Standard terms and conditions for the supply of goods and services.
  • Non-disclosure agreements.
  • Cease and desist letters and undertakings in respect of trade mark and copyright infringement.

Laura qualified as a solicitor in the intellectual property and information law teams at Pinsent Masons in March 2016. She joined the outsourcing, technology and commercial team at Wright Hassall in September 2017.


In her spare time, Laura enjoys reading, cooking, spending time with friends and walks in the countryside.
