Mark leads the Communities Directorate at Warwickshire County Council, which brings together Community Services, Environment Services, Education Services, and Fire and Rescue.

In support of the Council’s priority of supporting economic growth, Mark’s responsibility extends to Economy, Skills, Infrastructure and Regeneration; a main driver of which is to facilitate the investment of businesses within Warwickshire and support them to grow and succeed.

Mark’s professional background is in consumer law and, during his career, he has worked for local authorities in the South West of England including Devon, Somerset and Gloucestershire, before arriving in Warwickshire in 2003.

He also has a number of clients in the Construction sector providing advice and support around the upcoming changes and the impact it may have on businesses.

Claire has 14 years tax experience at ‘Big Four’ and local practices across a wide range of tax matters for both corporates and individuals.   Claire has specialist experience in capital allowances and commercial property and specialises in these areas at Mazars.   Claire has successfully claimed capital allowances for a number of groups across a range of sectors, including construction, retail and hospitality, marine leisure, property and manufacturing.   Claire works closely with property surveyors to advise on capital allowances for commercial property acquisitions.   Claire also delivers technical training and updates on capital allowances, both internally and to clients and industry groups.

Dinesh is a Senior Manager and leads the Employment Taxes services in the Midlands. He is a tax specialist with over 30 years’ experience of dealing with PAYE and National Insurance Contributions (NIC) queries. Dinesh used to lead the London Grant Thornton CIS services. He is an Ex-HMRC Employer Compliance Officer who will be able to share his extensive employment taxes knowledge from both sides of the ‘fence’. He has worked for a number of top seven accountancy firms ranging from Deloitte to Grant Thornton. Dinesh’s clients range from very large corporations through to smaller owner managed businesses.

Having originally trained as an Aeronautical Design Engineer with British Aerospace, he has been working in materials handling for 35 years. A large part of his experience was gained by working throughout Europe, where he has been responsible for designing some of the most prestigious and complex retail distribution warehouses

Philip has 30 years’ experience as a construction solicitor and advises on all aspects of construction law.

Initially he specialised in Mechanical and Electrical contracts, dealing with major disputes over projects such as the Trident Base at Coulport, SmithKline Beecham’s Research Facility at Stevenage, and the DH and DSS Headquarters in Leeds.

He now acts for employers, main contractors, sub-contractors and specialist suppliers.

Tracey has over 25yrs experience within Sports Development, having had a varied career. Prior to her time at LK2, she spent 21/2 years as Head of Growth at the England and Wales Cricket Board, with specific responsibility for the new markets of; Women & Girls, Disability, Diverse Communities, and Casual Cricket.

Tracey was an integral part of securing £1.2m loan from RBC as part of the capital development at the ground which successfully won Gold Package A – bringing two Ashes Tests to Nottingham in 2013 – 2015 and creating an economic return of £30m to the region

Gary is a professional consultant specialising in the sport, leisure, culture, education and commercial sectors. He has a proven track record delivering clear solutions to complex projects. His experience includes option appraisals, business plans, partnership working, linking commercial and community projects, strategy documents, asset transfer and grant funding expertise.

Gary previously sat as a Board Director of a County Sports Partnership and was chair of the Policy and Strategy committee leading on the development of the county-wide sports and facility strategy and Playing Pitch Strategy.

In 2009 he joined the LK2 team and formed LK2 Sport & Leisure Ltd with the Directors of LK2 Architects Ltd.
